I created a page on Meta
(http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_South_Africa/AGM1) that lists the
potential attendees. We can now also start to brainstorm about exactly what we
want to discuss at this meeting. Later today I will add a temporary agenda
which we can then edit into the correct format. Please keep in mind, so far
Dumisani and Mohau is the only members from Gauteng interested in attending.
The WLM budget allows all the project organizers and WMZA board members to
attend the event. Due to all the arrangements we still need to make, it will
be best to set a deadline for this Saturday (18 August) to know exactly who is
going to attend this meeting. That will be a week after the initial call, so
please do respond before then so that we know what is going for what and can
finalize arrangements. Thank you.
We should also set a deadline for the finalized agenda, because then the
members that are not able to attend the meeting are able to cast votes using an
electronic system. I propose that we set the agenda deadline for next Saturday
(25 August), which will give those members another week to cast votes until the
meeting itself. Feel free to propose other dates if you think necessary.
Sometime this week I will start to work on such a system.
