Hello everyone, This is a last moment reminder that tomorrow, 9 January, is the deadline to apply for a scholorship to attend this year's Wikimania <https://wikimania2016.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page> in Italy. The event will run from June 21–28 this year in the Italian town of Esino Lario <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esino_Lario>.
It would be really nice to have a greater South African/African presence at Wikimania this year so I would like to encourage Wikipedia editors (or other Wikimedia project contributors) to apply for a scholarship to attend the event. You can apply at the link here: https://scholarships.wikimedia.org/apply Please remember to include all relevant information to help support it, your involvement both on-wiki and off-wiki (such as volunteering for Wikipedia events/outreach or participation in the chapter) is important so please include it.
