Hello everyone, This is just to let everyone on this mailing list know that scholarships to attend Wikimania 2017 in Canada are now open. Wikimania is an annual Wikimedia/Wikipedia conference organised by both the Wikimedia Foundation and local Wikipedia editors. This year's event will take place in Montréal, Quebec, Canada from Aug 9-13, 2017.
Everyone on this mailing list is invited to apply. We typically do not get enough scholarship applicants from Southern African countries so if you are interested in attending then please do apply. It is a great event that I always try to make a point of attending and always enjoy meeting new people at. Especially folks from southern Africa.
