Hello everyone, As mentioned during our AGM this weekend we (Wikimedia ZA) have been working with ReCreate South Africa to promote reform of the Copyright Act so as to include Freedom of Panorama and Fair Use.
ReCreate South Africa has an open call for applications for a Google Policy Fellow who will be based at ReCreate for 6-12 months. The successful applicant would be expected to assist with research relating to the Copyright Amendment Bill and flexible general exceptions. We would sincerely appreciate it if you could pass on the advert to any students/members of your networks that might be interested. The closing date for applications is 08 November 2018 and the Fellow would be expected to start on 03 December 2018.
