I think though that the problem any wikipedia that relies on a lot of
informal speakers of a language is that it can become a chore rather
than fun and the entries can look halfhearted. Just look at half a
dozen random pages on the Latin Wikipedia

Anyway, raise your voice and recruit some editors who will commit a
few hours a week.
