I think there are some small design issues with the current implementation of BookManagerv2 that will make integration with Wikidata very difficult.
I'm currently writing a proposal on how we should fix them in order to have a powerful metadata management system in Wikisource that will be able to intereract nicely with Wikidata and Commons.
