Hi all, For the Wikisourcerers who are attending Wikimania 2023, I have some news from the COT of the conference. They have planned the following activities related to Wikisource.
1. *Wikimedians open discussion with Google* Google Asia Pacific invited Wikimedians to have a dialogue and workshop in Google, which include Wikisource, Wikivoyage, Wikipedia. Kindly coordinate with Butch and Sakti on your attendance. A Google form will be shared closer to the event to register for this discussion. 2. *Wikisource Basic Training on August 16 (Wed)* One room has been allocated on August 16 from 13:45 to 16:30 local time for basic training of Wikisource. Target audience are General public (including Singaporeans) and Wikimedians attending Wikimania curious and interested to learn Wikisource. 3. *Coaching Clinic at Wikimania plenary hall on August 16 (Wed)* One room has been allocated on August 16 from 13:45 to 16:30 local time for a coaching clinic on Wikimedia projects. This can also be used as a venue for Editathon and Proofread-athon. Target audience are General public (including Singaporeans) and Wikimedians attending Wikimania curious and seeking help on using/navigating Wikisource and other Wikimedia projects. I am sure, apart from these, we can arrange for a Wikisource meetup like previous Wikimanias where we will sit and discuss Wikisource together. Regards, Bodhisattwa
