Heya folks :) I just posted a note about this to the Wikivoyage Traveler Pubs. We plan to enable access to the data on Wikidata for Wikivoyage on 26th of August. Data like the international calling code, time zone or currency in a Wikivoyage article can then come from Wikidata. Please let me know if you have any questions.
