Hi all! This announcement may be interesting to some people here :)
I’ve just released version 1.0.0 of m3api, a library to interact with the MediaWiki Action API. The library works cross-platform – you can use it both in Node.js and in the browser (and you can even create client-side OAuth apps!). It’s not intended for on-wiki gadgets and user scripts (just continue using mw.Api there), but could be useful e.g. for Toolforge tools.
