I run TechPresentations.org on MW + SMW and this helps me maintain it in much better shape providing relevant information on all the pages - you can see the example of Topic template: http://www.techpresentations.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Topic&action=edit This one is used on all topic pages: http://www.techpresentations.org/Category:Topic And it includes various information about the topic aggreegated from all over the place in the wiki - good example is page about the Web: http://www.techpresentations.org/Web And here's what I have on the Web topic page: http://www.techpresentations.org/w/index.php?title=Web&action=edit BTW, it also provides feeds of information based on identified concepts. I wrapped actual feeds into FeedBurner so it's not clear that they are provided automatically, but they are: http://feeds.techpresentations.org/TechPresUpcoming http://feeds.techpresentations.org/TechPresOpenCallsForPapers http://feeds.techpresentations.org/TechPresMaterialsAvailable List of concepts is here: http://www.techpresentations.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3AAllPages&from=&to=&namespace=108 I wouldn't be able to maintain the resource myself using just MediaWiki - with Semantic MediaWiki it makes it viable.
