It has been discused before anyway.. http://www.mail-archive.com/search?q=wikitech-l+torrent&[email protected] You tipically download the whole wikipedia, because you know what are doing, and want to use in some project (maybe create a 700 MB cd-rom version? or doing datamining on the delicious corpus of data of the wikipedia..). I suggest you to run a few search on that interface, to get interesting messages.
