Any PHP cache installed / active? Any Squid proxy accidentally set? Cleared the browser cache? (Firefox has had a similar problem for me ages ago) Is localhost pointing to 127.0.0.1? (Verify this in the "hosts" file of your OS) Oh, and did you verify you use the correct path in your browser?
