That was my first thought, but I notice in Praveen's link that chillu-k 
has no Unicode 5.0 representation. It's described as "not very common", 
so maybe this isn't a big deal, but is your thinking just to store (and 
transmit) the 5.1 code for chillu-k, while converting the rest to 5.0? 
Or is their some Malayalam typographical convention that is used now 
that we should honor instead?
