It keeps the extensions backward-compatible (MW 1.13 or 1.14 is fine for many usages, anyway the major "breakthrough" was MW 1.12 with new parser, I don't see that much of huge changes in 1.14-1.15). Most of useful hooks seems to were added in 1.13..1.14, too. Though it's probably possible to check for existence of both libraries. Dmitriy
