Hmm... If <span itemprop> and <span href> were (are?) allowed
tag/attribute combinations in MediaWiki, we could just do

{{RDFa|title|EmeryMolyneux-terrestrialglobe-1592-20061127.jpg}} by
{{RDFa|author|Bob Smith}} is licensed under a
{{RDFa|license|Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 United States
License|http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/us/}}.

with {{RDFa}} like
<span itemprop="{{{1}}}" href="{{{3}}}">{{{2}}}</span>

(add clever {{#if}} for the href part)
