Tim,

If you get/have a enthusiastic and excited volunteer, then consider them. 
If you want someone who is reasonably laid back and patiently manages
lists mail without unnecessary interference then I am happy to manage
lists, even in ugly Mailman software. :-)

I have managed mailing lists for about fourteen years, first in SmartList
and now Mailman at RootsWeb, and was for about six years the Listmaster. 
Not a fuss to stick a couple more under the wing.  If you want further
