We have seen some great developments over the past > year or two, and hopefully the pace will continue to accelerate. I don't want to downplay the role of bugfixing or maintenance of the existing systems or all the other great stuff the tech team does. But a Bugmeister will not help us to leap forward with big innovations. For the big leaps we need people who dedicate full-time on a project.
