I think one thing to do is to help triage the 1.17 blockers: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26676 It appears a few more were added to the list over the weekend, including bug 24415 (tracking bug for Resource Loader 1.0), for which there are many blockers. If these bugs are all truly blockers, then we'll have to pull people in from code review to fix those bugs. If we can wait until 1.18 or later, then we'll have the luxury of holding out for volunteer help.
