Yet a simple "yes" or "no" from someone who already has experience with it
would have saved some time;) Anyway, the code has already been committed  in
r96288 by the time of your reply.

Worked pretty straightforward for me on Ubuntu. I remeber I used an
instruction from mw.o, but couldn't find it now.
