Interesting.

I changed the svn:mime-type prop so that the following urls now work:
https://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/mockups/ajax-mockups/DynamicMainPage/index.html
https://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/mockups/ajax-mockups/DynamicMainPage/slideshow.html
https://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/mockups/ajax-mockups/FloatingToc/index.html
https://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/mockups/ajax-mockups/Login/login.html
https://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/mockups/ajax-mockups/Login/index.html

I kind of like the slideshow, but I think it would make more sense in
a gallery section of an article, rather then on the Main Page.

btw, Wikinews uses some js for animated ticker type things (Example:
http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Portal:New_Zealand ) in case anyone is
interested, although its kind of feel out of favour recently
[disclaimer: I'm one of the authors of the enwikinews js ticker hack
thing].
