Consensus seems clear to me: *the* biggest issue was the 'reversed' meaning of 
green. That's why I swapped the colors. I have the new scheme installed as a 
gadget on enwiki, and response has been positive. I'm going to go ahead ans 
submit the patch. And *please* will someone look at bug 25697 too? It's been 
stale for no reason.
