So, since we're discussing SAML and OAuth and OpenID, and such, I
should mention this:

    http://simplesamlphp.org/

It supports SAML, OpenID, OAuth, it's extendable and it supports
multiple backends (LDAP, MySQL, etc). It is also localizable.
