Update: Daniel's comments at
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36164 have been
incorporated into the extension in
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/6728/, which is awaiting review.
Hopefully someone can find a bit of time to review it and the
deployment process can be started again! :)
