I generally try to keep https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload_Wizard_news up-to-date, it's explained in more detail there. (Bugzilla: 28850) Improved category interface: You no longer need to confirm each category, and the indicator that a category does not exist is passive as opposed to a scary dialog. >> Did you also enable the parameter passing feature? > I can't tell from searching Bugzilla & Gerrit - can you give a bug > number or commit number? Seconded - if you want to create a tracking bug for issues that you see as blockers for WLM 2012, that would be very helpful. We don't have a lot of dedicated effort on Upload Wizard right now, but a single contractor (Mark Holmquist) will continue to churn through issues/feature requests at least for another 2 months or so, and Brion and Kaldari have kindly been helping with code reviews and improvements. The main priority areas for improvements are error handling + small UX issues. Plus, there's an exciting GSOC project for improved Flickr integration ( https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Drecodeam/GSoC_2012_Application ), Kaldari is mentoring that one as well. -- Erik Möller VP of Engineering and Product Development, Wikimedia Foundation Support Free Knowledge: https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Donate _______________________________________________ Wikitech-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-l
