Niklas and Siebrand have already weighed in on this bug back in Mar,
and, indeed, it went away for a while.

We could make it the same as how it is in Special:Logs, removing
the first Username and not the username that is part of the message.
It seems like that would be better than the current situation. Is there
a reason that isn't done? It seems like this is turning into one of
those little paper-cut bugs[1] that annoy long-time Wikipedia editors.
Could someone update the bug?
