What I would like to see combined (and I think this is also MZMcBride's petitum) are the different "steps" Jenkins takes: A commit causes (depending on the status of the com- mitter) "Checked", "Verified", "Starting gate-and-submit jobs.", and "submitted this change and it was merged." mes- sages (and I'm not sure that these are all). "Checked" and "Verified" (for trusted committers) should be one message, and "Starting gate-and-submit jobs." is proba- bly more adequate for a log file.
