Hello all and welcome to the latest update on what deployments will be
happening next week at the WMF.

You can see the full schedule here:
https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Deployments#Week_of_June_24th

And you can see known upcoming deployments here:
https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Deployments#Upcoming_holidays_.2F_other_events

Now, for the highlights:

== Monday ==
* VisualEditor will be turning on their A/B testing on English
  Wikipedia. There was an issue last week when attempting this which
  delayed the rollout. See bug 49727:
  https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49727

* MediaWiki 1.22wmf8 will be rolled out to all non-Wikipedia sites
  (Wiktionary, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wikibooks, Wikiquote, Wikiversity,
  and a few others).
  The full roadmap for MedaiWiki deployments can be found at:

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_1.22/Roadmap#Schedule_for_the_deployments

== Tuesday ==
* ULS (Universal Language Selector) will be rolled out to wikis without
  language versions.
  See this planning document for more details about the ULS rollouts:
  https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/UniversalLanguageSelector/Deployment/Planning

== Thursday ==
* MediaWiki 1.22wmf8 will be rolled out to all 'pedias
* MediaWiki 1.22wmf9 will start and roll out to test/test2/mediawiki.org

Let me know, as always, if you have any questions!
