Right now, absolutely nothing hand-made beyond having the right
properties/categories/templates/forms in SMW. We're actively trying to avoid
deep changes. Part of the reason is to improve system sustainability. Another
part is, we're not php programmers. :)

The enterprise architecture we're reflecting in our SMW is composed of
predominantly open source systems, so it comes naturally that we'd release
anything we end up writing ourselves. We're very loath to do that, however. We
prefer a) using established extensions, b) bug reports and/or enhancement
requests (i.e. working through the community)=, c) documenting our work so it
is replicable by other actors, and d) scoping the EAR to the extent SMW serves
without deep customization (i.e. sacrificing a feature we might need if it
requires too much coding).

It's still a very young system we're working with, so I can't tell you much
more right now than, that it gives us a really good level of flexibility in
defining our EA model and populating it with the appropriate metadata and
structure. And eventually running governance queries like "if I change this
integration protocol, which systems and which users are affected" or "give me a
list of the system components which are not under OSI approved licenses".

That's even more awesome! Have you modified\extended SMW or other
Semantic extensions during your system building? Is there any new code
to share?
