The GraphViz extension continues to supports the full dot language except for a very small set of documented restrictions: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:GraphViz#Restrictions As for madness and regular expressions in Imagemap_body.php (I think you meant GraphViz_body.php?) I'd welcome more specific code review comments. In fact, the extension could sorely use an additional maintainer. I've been doing it solo since January. Let me know if you're interested.
