Ah, no, CSV and TSV support is for drag-and-drop, not copy-and-paste (which is plain text content): https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:VisualEditor_-_demonstration_of_CSV_table_creation.webm Drag-and-drop of plain text and HTML files inserts the contents, as you might expect. Once it's something that the UploadWizard team can support, we plan that drag-and-drop of files will upload them to Commons (with a prompt for licensing, naturally) and insert them in context.
