Hi Legoktm and others,

I have a use case for which Wikimedia shortlinks that could be edited (to
adapt to the changing locations of intended targets) could be useful.
However, http://urlshortener.wmflabs.org/ comes with the disclaimer "DO NOT
USE THIS SITE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN TESTING. IT WILL GO AWAY." Is there
any chance of having a stable long-term URL shortener in the next few
months?
