The attempt to upgrade and switch Jenkins ran into some issues last time.

Meanwhile these have been fixed. Therefore we have another window now.

Tomorrow, July 7th 2026, 15:30–16:30 UTC, CI / jenkins may not be working.

An outcome of this will also be that we will upgrade from Java 17 to Java
21 and Jenkins will be running
on a dedicated host on a stable and supported distro version.
