Hello wikitech-l, As MariaDB is widely used in the MediaWiki ecosystem, including Wikimedia's infrastructure, I'm reaching out to this list again. Some of you took part in our first annual survey last year - thank you.
This year's MariaDB Database Survey 2026 is open and ready for your input: https://mariadb.typeform.com/to/tS69UzVo?utm_source=wikitech We revamped last year's questions to gain new insights and split some questions by role so you can choose what to answer - there's an operator track covering HA setup, production versions, and upgrade cadence. With nearly 400 answers so far, we have already surpassed last year's total. The goal is to go well beyond to get good insights on how MariaDB is being used. It's also open to users of MySQL, PostgreSQL and other databases to learn about cases when MariaDB isn't being used (yet). You should be done in under 10 minutes. The survey is anonymous and closes in mid-October. The results will be published at https://mariadb.org/survey as last year. Thank you for participating in this MariaDB community effort!
