I fixed the problem. I just needed to import the root certificate from Comodo: https://support.comodo.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/970/0/intermediate-2-sha-2-comodo-rsa-domain-validation-secure-server-ca by installing it in /usr/share/ca-certificates/comodo and running "sudo dpkg-reconfigure ca-certificates".
