There were some technically-minded folks at this
project<http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Sandbox_server#Contributors_who_support_this_proposal>such
as
Historybuff <http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/User:Historybuff>,
CQ<http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/User:CQ>,
AmiDaniel <http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/User:AmiDaniel> but they all
curtailed participation at Wikiversity after the WMF could not find a few $$
to support the "sandbox server" project. There were also a few people
interested in this project <http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Topic:MediaWiki>.
Hillgentleman <http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/User:Hillgentleman> is a good
example of a Wikiversity participant with computing skills. I have very
limited computer/technical skills. There was a good group of learners and
scholars at Wikiversity before the hostile take-over in 2008. Now
Wikiversity attracts people like Adambro who do not create, they just delete
content and block honest participants from editing.
