Otherwise, just don't touch them. Well, there is (should be) a make dist target for that! It generates a release tarball with everything bootstrapped which you can upload to the website. But as you said if one uses a git tree, she is assumed to know what's going on. So it should be no problem to remove the scripts, IMHO. -- Alexander
