Hi all. I just need a little more help to get connected. I am using the
Intel 6250 embedded chipset and I installed Mint 12 with all updates and
complied the packages. I blacklisted iwlagn (wifi) and was able to remove
the softblock on wimax.

The reason I upgraded the OS was because it is using Network manager 0.9
and there is an "Enable WiMax Mobile Broadband" option. However, there
isn't a listing for it in NM itself once it's been selected. I called Clear
and they have no idea how to do this. Since the service is based on my MAC
address, a UN/PW is uneeded. I looked into Mobile Broadband but it only
covers GSM/CDMA networks, which Clear is not. In previous versions of Mint
(Ubuntu) wmx0 was listed in Wired Networks, which it isn't any longer.
Also, wmx0 used to be listed here:
