wayne (and ernie): actually i was born 4 days and 52 years before yesterday - 3/7/52 and by commercial disk i did indeed mean a pre-recorded movie and i considered using dvd shrink but was unsure if it would work, i thought it just stripped extras off the dvd, but to go from 8gb to 4.7gb it must be compressing
