OEM means stripped down is some form & in this case it's Vision Express 2* & ShowTime* which are "Special versions that do not support SVCD and DVD-Video." That would be enough of a reason for me not to buy it BUT if one can get an upgrade price to the full version [which most times one can not] then it would be worth it. Years ago I got Photoshop LE version that was essentially the same as an OEM version but it did qualify for an upgrade price & since I knew that ahead of time it locked the scanner purchase deal in for me.


As always YMMV & read the fine & very fine print for the details because the DEVIL is in the details.

FWIW there was a man killed today just south of here on I-71 because he rushed the state police with an axe.

1 cant axe a statie nothin. ;-)
