*This* kid can do that with MSPaint!
- set color to white (or same as web page background) & use the spray can to blur the edges (this needs a steady hand & enough room for the mouse to do its stuff! You can always undo the last movement).
Well this kid doesn't have as steady a hand as he once did but maybe the drugs hadn't kicked in yet. ;-)
I would ass-u-me that one would be better off using an old low res monitor & mouse for this maneuver as well. <lol>
I actually don't see anything wrong with the second image that she's pointed out & it looks like her friend did do it with Paint. If one were to get that precise with a website then I'd make the images the same size. On pg 1 it's 211x238 & on pg 2 it's 214x173 & this is what looks bad to the eye & not that the edges weren't blurred using the same technique but that's JMHO FWIW.
