Mozilla needs to clarify the update procedure.
I agree. If the previous version needs to be uninstalled, that information
shouldn't be buried in the release notes (which not many people read).
The installer routine should check for the presence of a previous version,
and offer to uninstall it, if necessary. Say what you want about
Microsoft, they do this kind of thing correctly.
