Not to pick sides [I'm not a fan of Symantec though :) ], just playing devil's advocate... might Kaspersky have been the cause of the problem to begin with? Since Kaspersky couldn't (or shouldn't) have changed the way Symantec operates, Kaspersky had to have changed how Kaspersky operates.


But yeah, Kaspersky found a way to correct the problem rather than just ignore it. Arrogantly ignoring customer problems has become a Symantec legacy though.
