Write your heading in say A1 and then select the rest of the columns you want it to span then go to the icon bar and click on the picture with a double headed arrow pointing to a page width. If you want it vertically centered then you need to select it and right click and select format cells - text- alignment and choose Of course the size and colour are selected in text colour and though the formatting options on the second icon bar - that is if you have it set up roughly as installed.
