I'm trying to get the idle-disconnect to work on my RAS connection and
I've discovered that something is more-or-less constantly 'poking' the
internet [judging from my DUmeter display, it looks like one tiny burst
of stuff every, about, two minutes]. I'm trying to figure out what it is
[the first step: second is to figure out what it's doing, and then third
step will be to shut it up]. I tried TDImon [from systeminternals] but
it doesn't have filtering [at least the freeware version doesn't] and
there's a *ton* of random TDI-level traffic so it is hard to sort out.

I don't have any 'sharing' enabled and I'm pretty sure I don't have any
phone-home stuff lurking in the background [but you never know, I
guess..sigh]. Any tips or tricks for tracking down the pgm that's
causing the network trafic? I have the freeware version of ZA -- I
wonder if there's something I can do there to have *it* tell me what's
doing the accesses?? Thanks!
