Not knowing which software you are using, may hard for me to help you - but if like you can use Windows Movie Maker, with that you can add still pictures - then pick the duration time you would want them on the screen along with your sound track..you can also add transitions to the still picture, for example fade - fade out, along with titles or anything else you can think of.
