When I opened the message, I found that Rich Koziol had written:

I believe that you must select the identity you want to use BEFORE you
compose the reply or write the message. It doesn't matter to which identity
your incoming message was received.
(PS: I cc'd you on this Rick because no telling how long it will be before my
message hits the list).
