Intrigued to say the least I went and downloaded Thunderbird and was quite
impressed with it at first.

As an email client it seems pretty good as they all do and I like the bit
about whether to format in HTML or Plain TEXT especially for NGs that don't
accept HTML or uses of Agent (sic).

On the Newsgroup front I am not too pleased as it appears that there is a
good many processes to go through to actually download a file and save it
to a folder even after one has set up the download/save folder previous.

In Agent I just hit "A" and files are saved if pic's or progs and if just
text are saved and can be read. All the conversion Yenc mime etc is
automatic. In thunderbird it appears someone has clipped it's wings as I
cannot get it to save a jpg to the save to folder.

What's up doc?
