I have tried Eudora's relay personality technique and it has worked when I've tested here with another ISP. However I cannot guarantee that this will work in the other city since I do not know what policies the other ISP will have. For instance, the ISP could block all mail that does not have a from address assigned by that isp.
There is no reason Eudora wouldn't work in your new location as the address the envelope has & what the message has can be 2 different addresses & as long as the envelope address meets the ISPs criteria you shouldn't have a problem. We have a saying here that says "I'll cross that bridge when I come to it". I would get the new temporary ISP & change the relaying personality but leave everything else the same. This worked for me when I had to change from cable to dsl & should work for you as well.
