I don't know for sure which keys do what, but windows can control the
USB buss and can have the devices on the buss enabled or disabled.
It can also measure the current draw. It is entirely feasible that
there is a set of registry keys that control this function.
Somewhere there must be a list of functions mapped to registry
keys...... I have a list for W95, but that never included anything
for USB. As far as W95 is concerned, there were always more keys in
the registry than in the list !!
