I'm looking for any suggestions or recommendations on a good Registry cleaner program for Win 2000 and/or Win XP. The kind of thing to remove traces of old installs, incompletely or incorrectly removed installs, and other dross and junk that accumulates in the registry over time.
I use either InCtrl5 <http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,9882,00.asp> or InstallRite25 <http://www.epsilonsquared.com/> which also tracks installs. Like most of these kind of apps they do their best work when loaded before an install takes place & then cleans up everything afterwards.
